The mediator is an impartial person who supports the parties in calmly presenting their arguments and arguments, in listening to each other, and then in finding common interests. On this basis, the mediator supports the parties in developing possible solutions. The mediator helps the parties to focus on the problems, agree on what they are, and then reach an agreement that satisfies all parties.

You can contact the mediator at any stage of the conflict, in particular when the parties have come to the conclusion that they are unable to talk to each other or, despite the talks, are unable to find a solution to their conflict on their own.

Using the services of a mediator is possible before commencing a court trial. The parties to the conflict may agree orally to seek a solution in the presence of a mediator instead of immediately instituting proceedings before a court. Mediation can replace court proceedings, and a settlement reached before a mediator will only require approval by the Court.

If one of the parties would like to invite the other party to mediation and do not know how to do it, it is best if they seek help from a qualified mediator.

The parties may also be referred to a mediator at any stage of an already ongoing court process.

The mediator may conduct an information meeting, during which he will present to the parties how and on what terms the mediation will take place. The parties may be summoned by the court to an information meeting with the mediator if proceedings are already pending before it. After the information meeting, the parties can decide whether they want to prosecute or resolve the conflict through mediation.
